My first book and one I am very proud of. I have spent a life-time photographing my environment, yet it wasn't until I was in my late twenties that I decided to dedicate a whole book to the area I grew up in.
Filled up with totally useless bits of information, I have jammed this book with images and sketches as well as providing the reader with a loose guide should they wish to follow my footsteps around the River Fal estuary.
The River Fal itself rises in Clay Mining country and makes it's way through the Duchy via Grampound, Tregony and onto Falmouth. I have covered as much f the tidal estuary as I could fit in including many of the various tributaries such as the Truro River, Cowlands Creek and the Percuil River.

Student Nurse - the First Ten Years!

I published this book in the spring of 2009 as a means to an end. Basically a collection of essays I had written while doing my nurse training (at diploma level) and beyond to degree level.
Now available as a book or download, I would now only advise any nursing student to just download this book as by my own admission many of the essays and references contacted within are now quite dated.
However, it was an exercise in preparing another book and as such I am pleased to include it on this page!

A work in progress! I am currently writing and recording all the details of a charity walk myself and several friends did in the summer of 2010.
Intended as a way to raise money for Joseph Varker - a scout chosen to represent the county at a World Jamboree in Sweden in 2011 - the walk saw four old friends join together to basically have a good time!
We started our walk at the mouth of the River Tamar on the Rame Peninsula and proceeded to make our way the 154 miles west along the Cornish Coast Path until finally reaching Lands End eight days later.
As yet, I have no cover designed so the above photos will have to suffice until I do!
